TOMMY
RHYTHM GUITAR/VOCALS/ NO BAD ON THE TAMBO

Tommy has been playing guitar from the age of 15 and has played in many bands over the years, co-founding top table 7 years ago. Tommy runs a dog boarding business with his wife Jo, which enables him to never miss an episode of Homes Under the Hammer. In his spare time, Tommy is a season ticket holder at his beloved Hearts of Midlothian and loves a game of pool and darts.

SHONA
LEAD VOCALS

Shona is the newest member of Top Table.

Most recently she performed at 'The Most Wonderful Time of the Year' as part of the Dunfermline Winter Festival with The Razz Big Band.  Previously Shona depped for a close harmony trio in Dundee. Shona has played a variety of musical theatre roles in productions such as Grease, 9 to 5 and Priscilla Queen of the Desert, to name a few.

Her aversion to the tambourine has quelled slightly since joining the band...

As a day job, Shona enjoys being a hairstylist/therapist/confidant to her amazing clientele in Dollbox.

She loves spending time with her family, live music, theatre and true crime podcasts.

CONNOR
LEAD GUITAR/VOCALS

After taking to the guitar aged 16, Connor has played his way from the High School Talent Show stage to the London O2. With a myriad of trios and bands to his name he has played all over the UK and Ireland, rubbing shoulders with the liked of Jim Kerr and Brian May.

Now with a stable base in Kirkcaldy, Connor works at Cromwell Tools in Glenrothes looking after the Bosch account and frequently loses the lunchtime darts competitions.

After taking some time away from performing live, Connor joined top table in 2021 and has been a part of the band the last two years. Any time away from work and music is spent hairstyling, visiting family, remaining loyal to Raith Rovers and visiting friends in Perth.

BRYAN
BASS GUITAR/DOUBLE BASS/ BACKING VOCALS

Bryan joined Top Table in 2022 after playing with several covers and originals bands throughout Fife and Tayside over the years. Albums with his compositions on them have literally been bought and listened to by dozens of people.

His love of Af Wiedersehen Pet and Lego as a child made him become a bricklayer but is now a commercial drone pilot and surveys buildings for a living.

He still follows Heart of Midlothian FC and Edinburgh Rugby for his sins, tends to eat a lot of toast and is pretty

handy in a pub quiz.

LEWIS
DRUMS/BACKING VOCALS

One of the founding members of the band, Lewis has been playing drums for 18 years but has yet to master the art of a reliable count in much to the distress of his band mates when playing live!

His lack of count in can all be forgotten by his ability to find a vocal harmony at any point in a song.

STEVEN(DOC)
KEYS/SAX/JAZZ TAMBO

Doc has been playing piano and sax since he was eleven and has played sax in various youth orchestras and jazz bands.

After an extended break from music, he joined Top Table as the keys player seven years ago. He has developed a method of tambourine playing (Jazz tambo), which is the envy of his bandmates, renowned for its inconsistent, often out-of-time beat.

He has a PhD in Ornithology (i.e. birds) and now works as a research scientist for the RSPB. However, after 10 years of university, the only practical benefit of having amassed

this knowledge is that he is now the go-to-person if anyone needs a random bird identified from an out-of-focus holiday pic.

Doc would like to list other interests that he has outside of playing in Top Table, but he has two young children, so has no spare time, unless you count driving his kids from club to club as a hobby.
